Artist Jason Ratliff creates Super Shadows through a Child’s Imagination


A few years back, Ratliff started an illustration series titled “Walking Shadows.” After it’s overwhelming response, growing number of fans ans artist who had written, inquiring if he had any intentions to continue the series with pieces similar to his “Hero” and “Heroine” entries. Now he proudly presents a full series of new pieces in the same vein.

The piece was titled “Hero” and depicted a young boy with the shadow of a superhero. The image isn’t necessarily about the superhero. It’s about a child’s imagination and potential. It’s about how a kid can be anything they want to be. The guy in the cape just helps represent those aspirations. The hero they see themselves as, or one day being. Whatever kind or hero that may be.

This new series titled “Super Shadows” picks up where that first piece left off. More info:
