Once a rejected bits of trash now a MASTERPIECE by Ptolemy Elrington

A hubcap, wheel cover or wheel trim is a decorative disk on an automobile wheel that covers at least a central portion of the wheel, called the hub generally fixed to reduce the accumulation of dirt and moisture apart from decorating the car.

Due to wear and tear the hubcaps needs to be replaced, sometimes they themselves fall off. These hubcaps can be seen lying on roadsides around the corner usually considered as scrap but an artist transforms these scrap hubcaps into magnificent piece of craft.

Ptolemy Elrington, 43, been collecting thousands of such left over hubcaps from roadside and crafting them into beautiful sculpture of animals, birds ,reptiles some of which have been sold worth up to £3,000.
