Artist Gabriel Schama is a New York raised, newly adopted by Oakland uses plywood, glue and a laser cutter to make geometric sculptures of fantastic complexity. Schama has been working full time as an artist for studio near Jack London Square. Schama used to cut a lot of work by hand, but these days, most of his work is made from whatever he can cut with a laser.
Gabriel Schama designs and cuts each layer of wood separately and glues them together to become a piece of psychedelic beauty ultimately. Here are some of his artwork.
