“Alive without breath” is a 3-Dimensional Animal paintings by Singapore-based artist Keng Lye. Keng uses layers of resin and acrylic paints creating almost real lifelike sculptures of animals and water bodies. Inspired by the renowned Riusuke Fukahori form of art, Keng lye goes a step ahead by adding a new dimension of protruding images to his art.
For example by using egg shells for creating turtle shell, pebbles for the octopus gave his painting a much more realistic effect. Relying just on acrylic paint, resin and a phenomenal sense of perspective Keng create’s an aquatic animal life that looks so real it could almost pass for a photograph.
